Sowing Seeds Growing People

A project in development

Sowing Seeds Growing People has an allocated site adjacent to our market garden and propagation nursery. The project draws on worldwide research identifying the therapeutic value of gardening.

A detailed garden plan has been developed using the principles of the Kevin Heinze GROW program. The plan is structured to allow for the building of the garden over an extended period of time.

Promoting wellbeing

Sowing Seeds Growing People offers participants a range of structured activities that support emotional, physical and vocational wellbeing.

Each participant spends time with the project coordinator to design a unique program based on their particular interests and needs.

Skilled staff then creates opportunities to ensure an individual therapeutic approach within a collaborative gardening venture.
