    Companion planting is all about working with nature in your garden instead of trying to club it into submission.

    When grouping plants together that benefit each other, the rewards are enormous. Companion planting  assists to boost soil health, plant  growth for a better harvest, invites pollinators in and repel predators in the garden. Come along to learn about your friends & foes in the garden.

    PepperGreen Farm’s second monthly market and first birthday celebration will be held Saturday 25th May from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.


    There will be prizes to be won, market stalls and activities including;


    Jewellery workshops, Little Grubs Children’s activity group, face painters, fresh produce, a gnome hunt, buskers and music performances, market stalls and much more.

    Phil Jopson’s Re-purposing Plastic workshops will be held on the 25th of May at PepperGreen Farms monthly Market and 1st Birthday celebration, with a session commencing at 10am and another at 1pm, each workshop will run between 1 to 2 hours. Suitable for all ages, an adult is required for attendees under the age of 10. This workshop is for people have have an interest in sustainability and crafts.


    Format:
    Initial Talk, demonstration, discussion and assistance making own small flower from plastic.
    Resources: All tools and materials supplied


    Aim:

    • To increase aesthetic appreciation for discarded materials
    • Develop craft skills
    • Develop confidence and skills in re-purposing household packaging
    • Meet like minded people and share ideas
    • Be inspired to experiment with re-purposing materials at home
    • Learn one specific and easy way to re-purpose plastic
