Dining and café
Peppergreen Farm Café is open for breakfast and lunch, offering delicious and freshly-prepared meals using produce grown on the farm. We have a number of options available to suit most dietary requirements – simply ask our friendly team! Our menu regularly changes depending on what crop is in season, while still keeping a base menu available year round including cold drinks, coffees and a range of teas.
We have dining within the café, and plenty of seating options throughout the gardens to soak up the sunshine during the warmer months! Our team is committed to providing you with an excellent experience – come in and see for yourself!
Gardens and fresh produce
All visitors to the farm are able to enjoy the garden and farmland, which is a place of community for locals and tourists alike.
Farm produce
Volunteers, staff and supported employees at the farm care for, and maintain, the gardens. All produce is organic, free from herbicides and pesticides, and is available for purchase directly from the garden bed. Simply decide on the produce you would like to purchase, and we will help pick and weigh it for you.
Environmental Gardening Techniques
Our waste management processes ensure we use all edible produce throughout our café, catering and retail services. Garden and café waste is composted on-site and reused throughout the garden for moisture retention and increasing nutrients. We incorporate sustainable water use into our programs and gardening practices.
GARDEN NURSERY
Our garden nursery features a range of potted herbs, vegetables, succulents and plants for you to take home and grow in your own garden! Pop in for a chat with our friendly team for tips and tricks on growing at home.
Added benefits
As a not-for-profit, all proceeds from the sale of produce are used in the upkeep of the garden and furthering employment opportunities for staff. The garden offers a range of learning opportunities for people of all abilities and backgrounds including biodiversity and environmental practices. The space that is created is a friendly, safe environment for all members of the community, visitors, and staff to enjoy.
Retail space
Our retail space is the perfect spot for unique gift ideas! We sell a number of farm-made relishes and condiments including honey, as well as up-cycled furniture and other items.
Our honey is produced from hives located on-site, and all seasonal relishes and condiments are made with produce harvested from the farm.
We also stock items from local crafters and producers, providing an outlet for locally-created pieces. We have a huge range of one of a kind pieces which are perfect for thoughtful gifting!
