Creative arts program
PepperGreen Farm is a venue for Access Creative Studios, a nurturing, creative art program funded by the NDIS (National Disability Health Scheme).
Potential studio artists meet with the staff at Access Creative Studios to discuss their needs, goals and interests. Upon joining the studio program members are encouraged to develop a plan that outlines personal artistic goals, strategies for achieving these goals and a time frame.
Self-expression and professional development
Artists come together to explore ideas and create pieces that reflect their unique style. The program provides an avenue for self-expression, personal growth and professional development.
Mentored by a passionate group of staff and volunteers, it is always the artist who remains centre stage as they develop individual concepts. From abstract sculptural work to colourful paintings, the personality of each artist shines through.
In addition to creating their own series of work, artists develop pieces for regular group exhibitions. There are also opportunities to extend beyond, with many artists achieving recognition in larger public exhibitions.
‘Access Creative Studios’ is a living entity that continues to flourish and evolve, much like the artists who make up its heart.
